Author Night with Tiger Researcher Rachel Marlatt.
Come join us July 31, 2024 for an author night with Tiger researcher, Rachel Marlatt, granddaughter of local citizen Linda Jerue. Rachel works at the Potter Park Zoo in Lansing Michigan. This educational book for our junior aged patrons will be available, as well as the author talking about the research and her work with animals at the zoo. Everyone is invited to the library for this program. Tigers are among the most majestic, and well-beloved animals on earth. Did you know that the tiger's orange and black coat color helps them camouflage? Have you ever wondered what tiger researchers do? Do you want to know what you can do to help save tigers? The remaining 6 tiger subspecies are all endangered and in need of your help! The Jr. Tiger Researcher's Notebook will give you all the tools you need to become a Jr. Tiger Researcher, so you can start saving tigers, like Sr. Tiger Researchers do!
